Who is OrganizeMe101.com?

Professional Organizer Laurene Livesey Park hasn’t always been organized!  In 1998 she made a New Years’ Resolution to “get organized, darn it” and in the process fell in love with organizing, professional organizers, talking about organizing…you get the idea.  As a formerly disorganized person, Laurene believes that organizing is supposed to make your life easier, and is a big believer in “organized enough”.  In 1999 she founded OrganizeMe101 so that she could share her enthusiasm for organizing with the rest of the world.  She helps her clients with organizing tools and systems that will help them find their own level of organization for their family or home office.

Laurene is a founding member, Gold Leaf Member and Past President of Professional Organizers in Canada.  She is chair of the Durham chapter of Professional Organizers in Canada.  She served on the board of directors of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), formerly known as the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization.  She is currently the Certification Program Director for the ICD.

A life-long learner, Laurene holds a Degree in Family Studies from the University of Guelph, Ontario, and studied Education at the University of British Columbia. She is committed to continuing her professional education, and participates in over 30 hours of teleclasses, conference sessions and in-person seminars a year.

In 2007 she earned the designation Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD), followed in 2010 by her Master Trainer in Organization and CD. She is a Chronic Disorganization Specialist and an ADD Specialist, and enjoys helping organizationally challenged clients find unique and effective organizing strategies. Laurene offers both on-site and virtual organizing options, and will work with you to help you find the best organizing method for your unique situation.

As well as working with clients, Laurene loves working with new professional organizers and is a popular educator and speaker. She’s a busy wife, mother of 2 young adults and community volunteer, and she’s learned a thing or two about family systems and getting things in order in those roles. Laurene can help you along the path to a more organized life!
